The original grip is damaged, so please rewrap or over-tape it. The condition is about 7 out of 10. This is a very old, famous racket and has been through a lot of hard work, but it is still in good condition. The string is just under 50 pounds. I think you'll be able to hit the ball without any problems, but if necessary, consider restringing it. It's a racket that many people long for.
